- Introduces various safety aspects while working with electrical circuits and applications.
- Familiarizes various tools used for different operations in electrical wiring.
- Introduces basic electrical components like fuse holder, switches etc. Provides hand on experience in wiring single phase electrical circuits.
- Introduces knowledge on three phase motor starters and Star - Delta starter.
Instrumentation & Communication
- Introduces sensors for measuring temperature. Introduces timers for control applications.
- Provides hands on experience in PLC programming for process control instrumentation.
- Introduces optical fiber communication concepts.
- Provides hands on experience to understand various building blocks of optical fiber communication.
- Familiarizes various multiplexing techniques for digital communication.
Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Introduces basic components in pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
- Provides knowledge on design of pneumatics and hydraulics circuits.
- Assemble the pneumatics and hydraulics components in the pneumatics system.
- Maintain the safety during assembly of pneumatics components in the test rig.
- Introduces turning jobs in CNC lathe.
Electronics
- Introduces the components used in Electronics
- Provides hands on experience in designing electronics circuits
- Familiarizes various tools used for making prinyed circuit boards (PCB).
- Design and assemble simple electronics circuits in PCB.
